“Total Recall” Coming in Blu-ray

December 17th, 2012 by DVDFab_Malcolm 12,959 views

You wake up every morning with a sweet dream? How wonderful life is! Just imagine a man awakening with the same recurring dream fresh in mind that he is so confused that he doesn’t even know which one is reality and which one is dream. This is Douglas Quaid’s story, from “Total Recall”, which is going to be released in Blu-ray on Dec. 18, 2012.

Starring: Colin Farrell, Kate Beckinsale, Jessica Biel, Bryan Cranston, Bokeem Woodbine, Bill Nighy
Director: Len Wiseman

The movie is set in the end of the 21st century, when only two territories capable of sustaining life remain on the earth — The United Federation of Britain (what is today Western Europe) and The Colony (present-day Australia) – thanks to the chemical warfare. Colony workers travel to UFB to assemble synthetic police robots that assist human law enforcement in the implementation of a high-tech police state. Quaid (Collin Ferrell) is one of them. He married to a sexy emergency worker named Lori (Kate). However, he has the same dream every day, in which he is paired with a mystery woman, fighting desperately to escape those who would do them harm. At the same time, there’s such a high-tech company named Rekall, where human memories can be implanted. Quaid decides to spice up his dull life by visiting Rekall and making himself injected a “super agent” memory. Guess what? It’s revealed that he is, in fact, a super agent, and his “real life” is a hundred-percent lie. His agent skills are revived, and he finds himself on the run at last. The law enforcement officers come to capture him. And he becomes a central figure during the revolt for freedom against UFB while both sides (UFB and Colony) trying to gain his allegiance through stories of a past he cannot fully recall.

Total Recall has great cutting edge visual effect. Its striking 1080p image presentation is perfect. And it delivers a dynamic surround sound experience that effortlessly pulls the listener into the film’s haunting, dark future world environment.

Just grab one after the release and enjoy yourself. And if you want to back up or manipulate the movie content the way you want, you can always use DVDFab to easily do it.
