In Men in Black 3, Agent J (Will Smith) travels back in time to 1969, where he teams up with a younger version of Agent K (Josh Brolin) to stop an evil alien from destroying the earth and the future of everyone.
The story unfolds as a one-armed alien Boglodite, the last one of his kind, escaped his off-world prison with a single goal in mind: murder the man who took his arm, Agent K. So he plans to travel backwards in time to Agent K’s (Tommy Lee Jones) younger days and kill him before his arm was taken. This will rewrite decades of history and alter countless lives, including Agent J of course. When the timeline is changed, J finds himself fully aware of his past life and relationship with K, and realizes that after the biggest change in the timeline, the Boglodite’s are not extinct anymore. In fact, they’ve invaded earth. Now, Agent J must travel back in time to restore the timeline, save K, and save the earth and future.
