On May 9, 2011, the famous multimedia software brand DVDFab has declared the release of a new video converter, 2D to 3D converter. You may find many 2D to 3D converters by searching google, but this DVDFab 2D to 3D Converter is actually the first full featured 2D to 3D video converter in the world. It works perfectly on 2D to 3D video conversions for Blu-ray and DVD. Now let’s get down to the details.

What can 2D to 3D Converter do?

DVDFab 2D to 3D Converter is the first and full-function software in the world that can convert a normal 2D DVD/Blu-ray/video to fantastic 3D videos identical to the real 3D with a variety of popular video formats for playback on

computer, some compatible 3D TV, or other compatible 3D display device.

“2D to 3D” Supported Formats:

With “2D to 3D” option enabled, DVDFab DVD Ripper can rip and convert a 2D DVD movie right from disc or from the backup folder or image file on a PC’s hard drive to 3D video(s) available in the following formats: AVI, MP4, MKV, and FLV; for DVDFab Blu-ray Ripper, the output 3D video(s) can be: AVI, MP4, MKV, M2TS, and TS; while DVDFab Video Converter is able to convert a normal video saved on the computer to 3D video(s) like AVI, MP4, MKV, and FLV. For more information about 2D to 3D Converter, please visit http://www.dvdfab.com/2d-to-3d-converter.htm.

Custom 3D Videos:

The 3D video output by 2D to 3D Converter can be freely customized just like in DVDFab Blu-ray 3D Ripper. One can set the 3D format as Left/Right, or Top/Bottom; the video frame size 100% or 50%; and can choose to output 2 separate files (one for left eye, one for right eye). Again, like a normal 2D video in DVDFab, the output 3D video can also be resized or cropped for a desired play region and effect.

All the above features will help you to enjoy 3D video more freely. You can choose any 2D video to convert. For instance, if you really like your DVD movie collections, just convert your DVDs into 3D. No more work, you can just convert common DVD into 3D and enjoy it with your 3D glasses. Is it amazing?

Except for 2D to 3D converter, DVDFab Blu-ray to 3D ripper is also a good choice for home movie entertainment. If you want to watch your current Blu-ray 3D movies on your PC, how? Just convert this Blu-ray 3D movie to MKV 3D video or AVI 3D video, then enjoy it with 3D glasses on your computer. Everything is easy and fast.

Since you are already in 3D movie creation, do you have any recommendations on what 3D glass is compatible with DVDFab 3D video? I have yet to purchase the 2Dto3D software but just in case, I wanted to know which of the 3D glass will work best for converted 2D’s first.

Hello, our test team are using Navida 3D output and playback system, therefore, Navida 3D devices are highly recommanded, a whole set of 3d system may include a 3d glasses, the 3d output screen, video card, and so on.

Curious about the 3d Conversion formats. My knowledge is not very advanced when it comes to 3D tech. but I recently bought a new LG 3D SmartTV, which does 3d converting itself and uses the same kind of glasses you would get at the theatre. As I am typing, I am trying the 2D – 3D conversion software provided by DVDFab, (fantastic products BTW), for the first time. Every product I have used from DVDfab has worked flawlessly and I am hoping this will as well. I am hoping that I am selecting the correct settingfor the products I have and that the 3D effects are better than what the tv produces. My worry is that I won’t be able to play back using my Blueray Player. I think I can put it on thumb drive, but perfer it on disk if possible. I hope it works as good and easily as all the other DVDfab products I have used. I will repost and let everyone know how it goes..(keeping fingers crossed!)

Hello, Younginvisions, thanks for your long term support to DVDFab.According to your description of your 3D TV, you can enjoy the converted 3D videos easily, but you can not put the 3D videos on the disc as DVDFab currently does not support the burning function. You can put the converted video on thumb drive or hard deive. You may try it out, if you meet any problems, please feel free to contact us, we are always ready to help.

hi, breynolds 41, DVDFab has no function of formatting a disc, so you need to use a DVD driver to format the disc and then copy the movie with DVDFab.

I was wondering if it is possible to burn 2d to 3d movies onto a disc. Meaning, during the process of working with DVD fab I am trying to find options to convert a blu ray video to 3d format (AVI or MKV for instance) and burn it to a disc. Is this not possible yet?? File too large or something?? I have a 3D tv and 3D blu ray player which is fully capable of playing 3D movies, I just want to get the converted 2d video to 3d and pop the disc into my player. Can you please help?
