April 2nd, 2014 by DVDFab_Malcolm 19,201 views

This is a long-awaited feature by millions of DVDFab customers; this is a very necessary and practical feature in videophiles’ daily life; this is a basic feature that has been in existence on similar products but DVDFab for years; this is a feature now has finally made the way to DVDFab 9. Yes, I think you may have already got it right, the feature I am keeping referring to is – Video Trim.

Okay, to make things short. Let’s take a closer look on how the video trim works on DVDFab 9.

What is and what does the video trim feature do?

As its name indicates, video trim feature lets users select and cut just a short duration of a DVD, Blu-ray movie (not based on chapters but on second) and other videos to convert for their portable devices. By doing so, they will be able to take the converted video clips (their favorite parts of the movies) to watch anywhere time permitted.

In what products is the video trim feature implemented?

The video trim feature is integrated into the Video Effect Settings panel of DVDFab’s Ripper and Converter tools which include DVD Ripper, Blu-ray Ripper and Video Converter, right under the Crop panel.

How does the video trim feature work?

Drag the sliding button , or click the Forward and Backward buttons to position your video clip, and then click  and  buttons to set the start and end points respectively. After doing this, you can click the Preview button  to preview the selected video clip. If the preview is okay, then click the OK button on this window to return to previous step.

NOTE: you need update your DVDFab to the latest version and then you can take advantage of this video trim feature.
