DVDFab 8.0.5.6 Is Now Released with Better Encoding Technology and Enhanced Performance

DVD Copy:

* New: Added support for a new copy protection as found on another version of “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” (US).

DVDFab 8.0.5.5 Update Information in General (December 4, 2010)

* New: Updated VSO burning engine.

* New: VSO patin couffin driver will not be installed by default now, since VSO burning engine doesn’t need it on Windows XP SP3 and above.

* New: Updated language files.

* New: Some minor changes and improvements.

* Fix: A freeze problem when using DXVA decoder in certain cases.

* Fix: A freeze problem when using CUDA 2-pass encoding in certain cases.

DVD Copy:

* New: Added support for a new copy protection as found on “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” (US).

* Fix: A problem that PathPlayer may remove playable content in certain cases.

DVD Ripper:

* New: Added profiles for AC3 encoding.

* New: Added logic to select suitable bitrate automatically for 2.0 or 5.1 audio encoding.

* Fix: Framerate should be 23.976 instead of 29.97 in certain cases.

* Fix: Output video may be cropped incorrectly for anamorphic widescreen source in certain cases.

* Fix: MP4 AAC 5.1 wrong channel problem when source audio is AC3 or DTS.

Blu-ray Ripper:

* New: Added profiles for AC3 encoding.

* New: Added logic to select suitable bitrate automatically for 2.0 or 5.1 audio encoding.

Blu-ray 3D Ripper:

* New: Subpicture can be rendered now.

* Fix: Left eye image may be wrong in certain cases.

Blu-ray to DVD Converter:

* Fix: PAL Blu-ray can be converted to DVD correctly now.

* Fix: An authoring error which causes the output DVD cannot be read by DVDFab again.
