DVDFab PasskeyはDVDやBlu-rayのプロテクトを解読し、コピー･再生･変換などを可能にするツール。
このツールを利用すると、MPC-HCやVLCなどフリーの再生ソフトで市販BDを再生することも可能になります。

Passkey for ブルーレイ/ Passkey for DVDを購入せず｢試用｣する事で、DVDFab Passkey Lite(フリー版)扱いになります。

DVDFab Passkeyは非常に多くのプロテクトに対応し、Discを読み込み可能にするソフトです。これを利用すると多くのBlu-ray/DVDがコピー･再生･変換･他メディアへのライティングが可能になります。

作動時の注意事項

  • システムに常駐し、バックグラウンドで作動。オンザフライでプロテクトを解読します。
  • DVD43やAnyDVDなど同系のコピーガード解析ツールや、HDDやDVD仮想化ツールと相性は悪いです。
    • 主な相性の悪いツール
    • AnyDVD HD / DVD43
    • alcohol120% / DaemonTools / PismoFile Mount / GizmoDrive などの仮想化ユーティリティ
    • InstantBurn(サイバーリンクの光学ドライブユーティリティ)
    • PeerGuardian（P2P用のIPブロックツール）
    • 一部アンチウイルスソフトが通信を遮断

    同系のツールを同時に作動させると、不具合が発生する可能性大。

DVDFab Passkeyのインストール

DVDFab Passkeyは以下の3つのエディションが存在します
有料ソフト
・[DVDFab Passkey for DVD]
・[DVDFab Passkey for ブルーレイ]
一部機能が制限された無料版
・[DVDFab Passkey Lite]
これらは同時にインストールされます。別々にインストールする事はできません。

ごく一般的なインストーラーで、迷う部分は全くありません。

DVDFab Passkeyには30日の試用期間が設けられており、その間は製品版の機能もフルに利用でき、試用期間を過ぎると(ライセンス購入しない限り)DVDFab Passkey Liteの機能のみが利用可能というスタイルです。

DVDFab Passkeyの使い方1：リッピング

DVDFab Passkeyを起動してからドライブにブルーレイディスクを入れると、まずは以下のようなダイアログが表示されます。

リージョンコード設定
▲通常はA-日本を選択。　毎回表示する必要はないので、左下の「再度表示しない」にチェックを入れて「OK」をクリック

ブルーレイの解析
▲解析中は、タスクトレイ上部でプログレスバーがもりもり動きます。
50GBのBlu-rayが30～50秒で解析終了します。
DVDの場合は数秒で解析終了します。

 

解析が成功しても失敗しても、タスクトレイのアイコンに変化はありません。
ブルーレイの解析成功
▲Discのある/なし、解析の成功/失敗等々、全て無反応です。
コピープロテクト解読の成功可否は、上記アイコンをダブルクリックして行います。

ブルーレイ コピー解析成功
▲クリックで拡大。成功すると矢印の部分が緑色になります。赤枠の部分に解読成功したプロテクトの一覧が表示されます。
※ここでAACS･BD+･CSSといったプロテクトが確認された場合は、コンテンツの複製は違法行為となります。

HDDへコピー

解析が成功した後は、Windowsのエクスプローラーを利用し、ドラッグ＆ドロップやコピー＆ペーストといった通常の操作でコピー可能となっています。DVDFabHD DecrypterなどのBDリッピング･変換ツールを利用してもOKです。

ブルーレイDiscをDVDFab Passkeyで解析後は、(リッピングや複製を行わなくても)MPC-HCやVLCなどフリーソフトで再生可能な状態となっています。HDCP機器未対応のモニタとの組み合わせでも、HD画質の視聴が可能です。
