Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund) is the son of a computer engineer Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges) who mysteriously disappeared 20 years ago. When Sam looks into his father’s disappearance he is accidentally transformed into a virtual world of the computer game his father programmed. It’s a fierce world where his father has been captured by his creation Clu, the ruler of the digital world who tries to come into the real world to change it, for so many years. Father and son finally reunite, and along with the help of Quorra (Olivia Wilde), a loyal confidante of Sam, they finally destroy Clu and the evil world with the sacrifice of the father. Sam and Quorra come back to the real world at last, and they can see the sunrise that Quorra has longed to see.
