Green Lantern: Emerald Knights, a new animated direct-to-video feature-length film, released by Warner Home Video ,is coming to Blu-ray Disc and DVD on June 7. Hot on the heels of their announcement that Nathan Fillion will voice Hal Jordan in the “Green Lantern: Emerald Knights” animated movie, Warner Bros. Animation has released a new image from the feature.
The new image features Hal and another member of the Green Lantern Corps, Arisia, who will be voiced by Elisabeth Moss (“Mad Men”). Of course, there are a few other members of the Corps in teh background, too — including a creature that resembles everyone’s favorite poozer, Kilowog.

Starring Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Peter Sarsgaard, Green Latern is an interesting animated film tells us a story of extraterrestrial keepers of the peace.The story line goes like that A test pilot is granted a mystical green ring that bestows him with otherworldly powers, as well as membership into an intergalactic squadron tasked with keeping peace within the universe.
The most noted Green Lantern was Hal Jordan. Hal was the greatest of the Green Lanterns, but was also the one responsible with destroying the Guardians and the Green Lantern Corps as we know it. After draining the Central Batter to get enough power to bring back millions from the dead, Parallax entered Hal and they emerged as Parallax.
Actor Ryan Reynolds, who was just named the Sexiest Man Alive of 2010, will play Hal Jordan, a test pilot who becomes responsible for the protection of one sector of the Universe in the new movie “Green Lantern” (check movie trailer below). Ryan’s love interest in the movie is Blake Lively, who plays Carol Ferris. This movie shall be very popular for these famous stars. You can even expect more from the movie.
